Woodburners have no riddling grate so prolong burn times by only taking oxygen from above the firebox. The idea is to get the stove up to temperature as quickly as possible, then you can start to restrict the air intake which will make your wood burn slower for longer periods, at a constant temperature. A woodburner will compliment any home and greatly reduce your heating bills whilst helping to make your home more carbon neutral. Please remember to burn either kiln dried or seasoned logs with a moisture content of less than 20% on your woodburner.
